Day 74 ( Jeju Trip Day 3 )

Hi everyone! Today is 2nd Nov 2008 and it's the 3rd day of our Jeju trip! Haha.. once again, we had high expectation of what we're going to achieve today!
Beautiful rocks and ocean..
We're on our way to the Jeongbang Waterfall!
Finally we're reached our destination! One of the 3 most famous waterfalls on Jeju Island, most tourist literature describes it as the only waterfall in Asia to fall directly into the sea. This is not true as other countries also have waterfalls that do this. In fact, the water from Jeongbang actually falls into a small, sheltered cove, and not directly into the ocean. Still, the 23-meter falls are very picturesque with the cliffs, the sea, and several small islands offshore.
Jeongbang Waterfall is 23m high and 8m wide. It has unique scenery not only in korea but also in the oriental area. It is called 'Jeongband Summer Waterfall' due to its picturesque scene when viewed from a boat and is one of 10 Scenic Wonders of Jeju Island. Jeongbang Waterfall is famous for the legend of 'Seobok' who came to jeju Island in search for an elixir of eternal life for Chin, the powerful Emperor of China 2000 years ago. After he failed to find the elixir, he carved his name, 'Seobul', on the cliff of the waterfall and returned To China.
I'm so cute.. i think i fall in love with myself.. MUHAHAHA!!

Finally we're reached our destination! Legend states that this waterfall was named after seven nymphs who assisted Heaven's Emperor who descended at night to bathe and play in the water. Flanked by dense trees, the three waterfalls provide a magnificent sight to enjoy. The first waterfall cascades from a 22-meter cliff into a 21-meter deep pond. The water continues over two more waterfalls until it reaches the ocean. Photo taking session begins!Cute Joseph and the Cheonjaeyeon Waterfall..

The Miniature Theme Park is the largest of its kind in Korea. You can see some of the famous architecture of Korea and the world, all in one trip. This park is situated in scenic valley where you can see Mt. Halla, the symbol of motherly warmth to the Jeju people, and mystical secondary volcanic cones (oreums).

At the entrance of the chocolate museum!Located in Daejeong Farming Industry Complex in Ilgwa-ri, Daejeong-eup, this is the only chocolate museum in Asia.Built with volcanic rock unique to Jeju island, the European style museum building looks like an old exotic castle. Visitors may feel cozy and romantic on the 4,500 square meter site.
Chocolate museum shows the history of chocolate enjoyed by people over hundreds of years and gives opportunities of tasting a wide variety of chocolate qualities, kinds, and flavors. You can say it is a "Real Chocolate Place".

As the night falls, we have no place to go because we have to catch a plane early in the morning at 6.30am!! What's more.. the airport closes at 11.30pm and opens only at 5.30am.. sian.. in the end we went Las Vegas Casino!! Cannot take photo inside the casino, so we took it outside near the lift!
