Day 17 ( Taejongdae Park )

Wow.. today was like a challenge because we're going to explore the Taejongdae! But before we meet up, i have to settle my lunch.. eh.. don't know how to order, i just anyhow pick a food with the word "rice" in korean.. and this is what they gave me: Eh.. sushi?!?! haha.. i cannot believe it!! I anyhow choose also can choose something i like sia.. haha.. by right this meal should cost me 3000 won, but they charge me 2500 won only!!

Look at the filling.. from what i've observed, i can taste rice, seaweed, lettuce, tuna wrapped with green chilli, mayonnaise, brown veg, egg, tomato and diced carrot.. really nice..
Eating until the last 3 pieces.. haha..

Funny structure! It's as though the iron bar is supporting the fallen tree... nice construction..
us!
The map of Taejongdae Park! Taejongdae Park is on the tip of Yeongdo Island, southwest of the downtown area. It is a very hilly and heavily forested area with rugged cliffs dropping straight down to the sea 150m below!Looking into the sea at the Gonpo garden!
Carrying on walking from the Gonpo garden
Found a souvenir shop!
Haha! Found this pebble beach! Before going down, we have to first walk down this steep step slope!
What a nice scenery.. beautiful.. the wind is really cooling + the slight drizzling.. nice weather..
Lots of pebbles!A group photo!Natural scenery + couple.. :PWe stepped on this pebble beach before!
Our first attempt and we the first to achieve 11 pebbles stacked! If we stacked more than 4 pebbles, we can make a wish!Proud of our accomplishment! Meanwhile Huilin and Karen was trying to compete with us to see who stacked the highest!
And we manage to stack the second pile of pebbles again.. :P We're greedy cos we wanna make lots of wishes! 11 pebbles achieved again!
But oh no!! Hui Lin and Karen manage to stacked up 12 pebbles!! ARGH!!Undaunted, we manage to achieve 12 pebbles!!
Did i see 13 pebbles stacked?!?!?! WAHAHAHAHAA!!! We did the impossible!! So proud of our achievement.. i guess i'm going to have 13 kids in future.. :P

Time is flying and we have to get going.. looking down again at the pebble beach
Long and winding road..Came to a temple for a visitA small temple
A statue of Buddha.. a few people try to put coins on the head of this Buddha and pray for peace and good luck.. some placed the coins on top of the hands and on the body..
Blue flower!
At the side of this temple

Found the first natural spring water! This is called the Globefish Minerial Spring!! Huilin manage to top up her water bottle.. haha..Notice some funny signs on the road which i've never encounter in Singapore.. what i the meaning of this sign ar?
Trains available for boarding! But we didn't cos we want to experience walking and exploring all the attractions by foot! I think these kind of trains have to pay around 1500 won.. hmm.. Kinda cute train.. haha..Possible entry to the beach, but its very dangerous..
On the way, we've reached the South Port viewing point! An excellent group photo.. eh.. and a colourful one.. haha.. Looking at the free telescope

Looking on, we can see the Saengdo Islet ( Kettle Islet )!! But the mist is too strong to see Japan from here. Anyway directly in front of us is the Pacific ocean.. wow..
Li Shi holding on to the islet.. haha..
Eating a burgerEntrance to the lighthouse!
An ancient lighthouse.. now there is a new one! This is the famous Yeongdo Lighthouse Marine Cultural Space, and is equipped with the sun-viewing Square, the Observatory and the marine gallery etc. which are the attractions of Taejongdae.
This is the Light Beyong Limitation
The overlapping of the red and blur circles shows the trace of the circle moving forward as the blue pushes the red.
The blue circle connotes the sky and the sea while the red one symbolizes the sun, camellia flower, universe, five oceans and six continents.
The bar in the middle symbolizes the ligh from the lighthouse, showing everlasting movement toward the universe by splitting the sky and the sea. The bar also vivdly expresses an ascending marine nation.
Overall, this artwork represents, in the shape of a circle breaking through from inside of the cliff, the totality of the relationship between nature and the model. It signifies the concept of a gateway in which people can progress together in the spirit of harmoney and friendliness!
Looking down to the cliff!
Looking at the lighthouse.. eh.. i see rainbow coloured umbrella at the bottom of it.. haha..
Wow.. the unparalleled scenery harmonized with fantastically-shaped rocks eroded by surging water.
At this point of time, there is a very strong and icy cold wind blowing at us!!
Some inscriptions done by liquid paper!! Interesting!
Trying to leave memories here!!Indeed.. strong and icy cold wind.. *burr*...
They're writing, and i'm busying taking self pic.. haha!
Taking a closer look
Done!
Reach the bottom of the cliff!! Seriously we don't dare to step too close to the cliff.. think we may not be able to return Singapore if we do so..
Looking up from the plattform
Trying to take lots of pictures! Some artistic shots i'm trying ot create.. hehe..
A penguin??
Wow.. look at the sedimentation of the rocks! I find they applicable to the Geography i learned in secondary 3.. haha..
Looking down of the cliff.. scared!
NTU students was here!! An islet hiding behind huilin.. haha..
Beautiful..
While climbing up again, strong wind welcome us!
Looking down high up..
Found a mermaid!! This is where the fun starts..
The fun lies in the breast of the mermaid.. and we are doing all sort of things to fondle it.. eh..
Our final attempt.. i manage to drink some breast milk.. refreshing.. Nice scenery again! I kinda like the mist!
The Lighthouse!!
Taking a picture with the "Light Beyond Limitation"!! Before going, we spot some speed boat!! I think there are some filming going on.. haha..
