Day 92 - Day 93 ( Seoul Trip for DMZ / Day 1 & 2 )

On the 20th Nov 2008, we've decided to go Seoul again! This time we're going for the DMZ tour on sat.. :P Look at the numerous fallen leaves in the vicinity of my school's compound!
Sat the 7pm KTX for Seoul!
Once we reached the guesthouse, we immediately waste no time and proceed to Dongdaemum for shopping spree!!
Our maggie mee + dumpling supper??
Beautiful christmas decorations!
Haha.. we observe smoke coming out from our mouth and nose, so we decided to take a photo of it! Paisay.. badly taken.. hehe..
At this point of time, i've manage to capture some unsightly stuff.. haha.. so i put up a happy face instead for Huilin!! Hope u like it Huilin!
A group photo of NTU students in shopping complex of Dongdaemum in Seoul!
In the end, we slept at 5am in the morning.. We can really chiong sia! YAWN!! woke up at 11am and decided to proceed our plan: Nami Island! Got a train transfer at Cheongnyangni station:
This is the first time we sat the Korail!
Can you see that the seats are "turnable"?? :P
Finally reached Gapyeong after a long ride.. haha..
Took a photo while standing on the railway track!
Isn't it beautiful?
From the Gapyeong station, we have to take a taxi to the ferry terminal~
The entrance where we're going to take a ferry to Nami island, which is the filming location of Winter Sonata!
Beautiful sunrays!
Situated 63km from Seoul in the middle of the Han River, the island looks like a leaf floating gracefully on top of Cheongpyeong lake~
Finally we've reached Nami Island!
Penguin?
The island has an area of 460,000 meter square and a circumference of 5km. Formed with pebbles and sand, there are no mountains in the island. There are trees tall enough to touch the sky, along with big grass gardens where deers, ostriches, rabbits, squirrels, ducks and countless types of birds live together!
We are free!! And we are part of nature!!!
Nami Island was named after General Nami, a brave name from Korean history who courageouly fought in battles and died at the age of 26. In 1965, thousands of trees were planted by Mr. Pyong-Do Minn.
And i'm here.. admiring the trees.. barren autumn trees?
Joseph and Li Shi..
Welcome to Nami Island!
Err..
Tada! Beautiful place!! ( is my head fractured? )
Tada!! ( but is Huilin's hand fractured as well? )
Indeed.. i can see a barren tree.. and.. we started taking photos with it:
It's also the filming location for Winter Sonata!
Nami Island today provides a warm place to rest, where peple can relax. Human beings, animals and trees share peace, love and harmony far away from crowds and civilization~
Li Shi poking its mouth..
Interesting stuff~
Nice picture!
This uncle sweeper is so creative..
He swept the shape of a heart!
Finally we've reached the parallel tall trees!! I think it's a romantic place.. :)
Love is in the air.. :)
Some funny pose i have! This is the ultimate nTu formation!
"Vitamin" position! ( crap )
Are u standing on thin ice??
Fell in love in the Nami Island..
Calafare? I can see Huilin trying to do obscene stuff.. and Li Shi's hand on Huilin's waist.. ahem..
Autumn!
Finally as night falls, we took the 7.45pm Korail back to Seoul and hurried to the guesthouse.. Suppose to rest early and prepare for the DMZ tour tomorrow! Hope tomorrow will be a safe trip for us!
